| What is LINC? | LINC is an acronym for Large Innovative Networking Churches. It is a network of education, discipleship, small group leadership staff of Alabama Southern Baptist Churches with more than 800 in attendance. LINC was organized in 2002 by Topper Ried of Hunter Street and Rick Ellison of the Alabama Baptist State Convention. A president is elected each year to host the event, which typically has been held at churches who are in new facilities. The meetings are usually held the final week or April or first week of May from lunch to lunch on a Thursday/Friday. Next Meeting

| A Note from Jan Jones, Minister of Education, Dawson Baptist Church: Relationships – it is all about relationships! I know men cringe at the word relationships, yet our relationships determine the quality of our lives. Our relationship with God, staff, congregation, friends, and, sometimes it seems to be last, our families. How do you balance it all as Minister of Education and still be a good staff member, mentor, parent, and spouse? Join your fellow MEs at Dawson Baptist Church for our2011 LINC Meeting and learn from one another how to excel in our relationships. Participate in challenging learning sessions, informative discussions ,investigative sharing, and fun fellowship. Meeting Facts Bring your spouse — Birmingham offers lots of shopping or relaxation time. Spouses are welcome for the dinner on Thursday evening when we talk about excelling in our family relationships. I pray you will make this meeting a priority for your 2011 Spring.
